How do English speakers normally pronounce the Spanish name “Miguel”?
How do English speakers, especially Americans, pronounce the Spanish name “Miguel”? Of course, they would normally not pronounce it the Spanish way. is the first vowel sound a short i (as in BIT) or a long I (as in BEAT)?
Does the second vowel sound rhymes with “PET” or is it just a schwa/neutral vowel (as in the first vowel sound in “about”)?
Can a native spanish speaker please translate these two lines? I will give 10 points?
I will give 10 points to whoever does not use an online translator!

English to Spanish translation needed. No online translators please?
I would like this letter for a friend in South America translated please. Online translators do not work! Thanks to anyone who can help!
“In this envelope you will find pictures of my life; my university, my dog,
my friends, and us in Sicily! I hope you like them, and I hope that one day soon you can see these places and these people!
School is still amazing. I have complete freedom , which is very good for me . I like it a lot. In these days I am very tired. I must study a lot in order to be good at school, and so I stay up late most nights. Are you studying a lot too? Whatever you are doing, I hope you are doing well. You seem happy when I speak to you on the phone, and I hope it continues. I have been keeping contact with Lisa, but not as much as I would like to, and not as much as I do with you. Distance is difficult for friendships. But of course I hope it does nothing to us. I do not believe it will.
As always, I miss you and think of you always. When I see you next will be a happy moment for me.
Say hello to your family for me! And tuffy!”
She doesn’t speak english at all. I am sicilian, and she lived there for a bout a year. We speak Italian together on the phone, but it is difficult for her to read Italian, as she learned it by listening, and never formally studied it.
Yes, we are on personal terms, and yes Toffy is a dog.
