How do English speakers normally pronounce the Spanish name “Miguel”?
How do English speakers, especially Americans, pronounce the Spanish name “Miguel”? Of course, they would normally not pronounce it the Spanish way. is the first vowel sound a short i (as in BIT) or a long I (as in BEAT)?
Does the second vowel sound rhymes with “PET” or is it just a schwa/neutral vowel (as in the first vowel sound in “about”)?

I would like this letter for a friend in South America translated please. Online translators do not work! Thanks to anyone who can help!
“In this envelope you will find pictures of my life; my university, my dog,

School is still amazing. I have complete freedom , which is very good for me . I like it a lot. In these days I am very tired. She doesn’t speak english at all. I am sicilian, and she lived there for a bout a year. We speak Italian together on the phone, but it is difficult for her to read Italian, as she learned it by listening, and never formally studied it.
