Are online courses for high school credit accepted by most colleges?

asked:
I am planning to take a few extra classes online but I wasn’t sure if it is worth it.
Some of the reasons as to why I am thinking of doing this is because next year I’m planning to take a few ap courses and my schedule just won’t fit my spanish class in it but maybe i can just take spanish over the summer online. i plan on taking up to spanish 4 so i can’t just skip a year.
Do you think that taking this online will be alright?
Would it still be accepted by colleges (particularly ivy league schools) or would they prefer you actually take all the classes in school?
I’m also thinking that if my spanish class online goes well i might even take some more extra classes online but I’m just doubting it because I don’t know if it’s worth it.
Do colleges like to see that taking online classes show ur more independent?
Any details on would really help me.
