I want to use my annual holiday to take some intensive Spanish course in a spanish-speaking country. I am looking for some 2 or 3-week intensive course. I found that EF offer such programs in Spain (Malacca or Barcelona) as well as in Quito. I wonder if anyone has the experience with EF or learning Spanish intensively?

In fact I prefer to learn Spanish in a South American country because: (1) I visited Spain before, but have never been to America; (2) I should take my leave in December, think Quito or South America will have better weather.

I took a beginner Spanish course in summer, and now I am taking a second Spanish course in my university, and am the best student in class (The teacher is amazed how well I speak) Well, it’s mostly because I learn more Spanish vocab on the sidelines on internet as well. I am very enticed to start learning French by taking a class in summer besides taking my third course in Spanish. I am wondering wether it is ok to start learning French while I am not done with Spanish yet. By the way, I have a 4.0 GPA, so I can handle studying well, but still wondering if learning these two languages at the same time is the right thing to do?

One thing I know is that I want to live in Spain. I don’t know where, but probably by the sea…but the dilemma is do I study a TEFL course so that i have a backup work plan and then learn Spanish part-time looking for another job on the way. Or do I just go straight there and study Spanish for 2 months in the hope that will make me more employable?

Also, anyone know of good job website contacts or where to look for jobs for the Americas Cup 2007?
