As far as natural languages go, Spanish is the easiest there is (unnatural being man-made languages like Esperanto), but “easy” for a language is still challenging. My advice to you, don’t take a language in a school or university if you actually want to learn to speak it; you’ll just get disapointed if that’s what you’re looking for. What I did to learn spanish was go to, and I took the whole Spanish course there (all 50 hours worth!). That would be a good start, but I warn you, you’re going to need perseverance!

I live in Spain and have had lessons on a 1to 1 bases for 2 years but if you ask anyone the only real way to learn a language is to work with the natives ,get a job in a Spanish speaking bar you will pick it up much quicker.

I have studied French since I was young so I must admit that there are many similarities. It’s hard to say which is harder because I used to think that French has more rules then I studied Spanish when I moved to a South American country and they are challenging too. But the good news is, even when I moved here my family could learn fast so I’m guessing, if they can, you can too!

Bottom line, it’s not hard. Trust me, woth just the basics, you can go far. It’s when you want to speak and write in perfect Spanish, It’s not hard, it’s just challenging

I only found one public university with official fashion design degree. It is the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.

About choosing public or private… I have no idea about fashion studies but the schools I have found don’t seem to be very important and, besides, they’re not consider as universities although you can obtain the official title there.

Most likely because of lack of money. Schools cut programs and classes when they aren’t COMPLETELY necessary to the graduation of the students when money is tight. Schools are always dropping art, music and languages like hot potatoes.
